About Birmingham Conference & Events Centre
The BCEC, located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, just a minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street station, with an NCP car park located just around the corner.
We are modern and bright in design having recently been redeveloped, and the perfect venue for providing the ‘wow factor’. The function room itself has a grand and private feel, with the vibrancy feel of the city centre too. We have a total of 3 bars in the overall space, all the bars include Draught beer, but additionally one of them specialises in Champagne and another in Whiskey – to suit the tastes of all!
The main space is pillar free to provide full flexibility, and you can be as creative as you like!
There is also a built in stage which doesn’t encroach in the room. There are rigging points and inbuilt sound – again giving you the option to make your event as glamorous or as simple as suits.
Our location is what really makes us popular – being in the city centre we are accessible to guests arriving from all over.
There is a glass walkway which connects us to the Holiday Inn (so guests don’t have to get wet or blown away by the wind if they have their glad rags on, just to access their bedroom!). Accommodation can be arranged for large parties at a group discounted rate.
